Eileen is a play staged as a dance. Set in a hospital waiting room, it unfolds through a series of interwoven monologues: a trans ER nurse with a big secret, an aging gay rodeo star, a mysterious sleeping person, and a milk man on the brink of a momentous career change. Through their stories, Eileen explores the tender edges between healing and harm. What does true healing look like? What does it demand? And what are the sources and functions of our pain?  ​​
